On a sunny weekend, we set out for the long-awaited Nanxi River in Yongjia County, known as the "Hometown of Longevity in China." Nanxi River is the cradle of Chinese landscape poetry, and poets of successive dynasties have sung its praises. Their soaring inspiration and timeless verses nurtured the Yongjia people's deep appreciation for landscapes and enriched the region's fresh and rustic local culture. With eager anticipation, we arrived in this season of lingering warmth and early chill to listen to the babbling brook and the sound of seeds breaking through the soil along the banks; to explore the willows tinged with spring green and the fragrance of the earth; and to revel in the natural oxygen bar gifted by nature.
This journey to Nanxi River, full of sunshine and passion, allowed us to fully appreciate its beautiful waters, unique rocks, ancient villages, numerous waterfalls, and lush forests. It was an unforgettable trip and a perfect team-building experience. The warmth and hospitality of Manager Pan and our partners from Ouyun made us even more reluctant to leave.
