In the warming days of April, Gaopeng, together with Qike.com, officially established its corporate university. Liu Guochuan, CEO of Gaopeng, was appointed Lifetime Honorary President of Gaopeng Enterprise University. Leveraging the convenience brought by the Internet, the company mobilized all employees to make use of fragmented time and study independently through the Qike.com app.
In addition, the university adopts practical teaching methods such as real-world simulations, case studies, and interactive instruction, aiming to cultivate mid-level and senior management talent within the company. It not only meets employees' lifelong learning needs but also lays a foundation for the company's sustainable, long-term development.
Launch Ceremony Segment: 1. Opening Address
All Gaopeng employees attended the launch ceremony. The ceremony began with an address by a Qike.com instructor, who spoke on the importance of learning from two perspectives.
For individuals, learning is primarily about developing personal capabilities, professional quality, and business knowledge — a continuous enrichment and enhancement of one's inner self and expertise.
For enterprises, once a company reaches a certain stage, talent cultivation becomes a key part of its strategic development. As early as 1993, Motorola University China was established, bringing the concept of the corporate university to China. Later, Siemens Academy and Ericsson Academy were successively founded.
After 2008, the number of corporate universities in China grew rapidly. According to survey data from the Overseas Education College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, an average of 236 corporate universities were established annually between 2008 and 2012.
More and more companies have come to realize that talent cultivation is a vital part of steady progress and keeping pace with the times.
2. Address by President Liu
The second segment of the launch ceremony was an address by Liu Guochuan, CEO of Gaopeng and President of Gaopeng Enterprise University. He explained the original intention behind establishing the university, using his humorous speaking style and rich knowledge to inspire employees' enthusiasm for proactive learning.
Why learn?
For individuals, it means improving one's own abilities; for the team, it means working in sync and with high efficiency; for the company, it means a future of long-term development.
What to learn?
It mainly falls into three aspects: personal cultivation (developing a broader perspective); communication and collaboration skills; and technical methods and professional expertise.
How to learn?
Think with intention, persevere, and apply what you have learned.
From his address, we could feel President Liu's earnest hope that every Gaopeng employee would make learning an independent habit, and that everyone would gain knowledge from the corporate university, continuously improving and transcending themselves.
3. Appointment Certificate Ceremony
The third segment was the official appointment ceremony. Liu Guochuan, CEO of Gaopeng, was appointed Lifetime Honorary President of Gaopeng Enterprise University; Zhu Hongya, Deputy General Manager of Gaopeng, was appointed Vice President; and Hu Bei, Assistant to the CEO, was appointed Dean of Academic Affairs.
Appointment represents both trust and responsibility. We believe they will guide Gaopeng employees toward independent learning, enabling employees and the company to keep up with the trends of the times, become pioneers in learning, and embrace a brighter future together.
4. Qike.com Operation Demonstration
Gaopeng partnered with Qike.com to leverage its rich faculty strength and teaching resources, jointly building a model that combines online learning with offline summarization, sharing, and application. Therefore, at the end of the launch ceremony, Mr. Cheng Lin from Qike.com's Overseas Business Department demonstrated the operating procedures of Qike.com to all Gaopeng employees. The course library covers every aspect of the workplace. President Liu will take on the important task of course selection, providing different courses for employees in different positions. It is hoped that all Gaopeng family members will achieve learning success and apply what they have learned after the establishment of the corporate university.
The Gaopeng Enterprise University launch ceremony came to an end here, but for all Gaopeng employees, it is only the beginning. In the time outside of work, we will devote more time to learning. We hope that "Have you studied today?" and "What did you learn today?" will become the newest way for Gaopeng people to greet each other. We also wish that Gaopeng will nurture more talent and continue to develop sustainably.
