Annual Meeting | All Praise for the Mighty Ox: Welcoming the New Year with Ox-like Vigor. Introduction: Due to the sporadic resurgence of COVID-19 across various regions, Gaopeng simplified the celebration this year and gathered together at the company. Without the elaborate venue setup and performance arrangements, what remained were the most sincere blessings and the joy of welcoming the Spring Festival.
Gaopeng also takes this opportunity to wish everyone a prosperous and auspicious Year of the Ox!
This year's annual meeting consisted of three main segments. The first was our "All Praise with Wholehearted Enthusiasm" activity. Everyone gathered and praised one another around three themes: acknowledging strengths within your own department, complimenting anyone in the company, and sharing your own strengths. Those who delivered particularly good compliments were rewarded with generous cash red envelopes.
The atmosphere far exceeded expectations. During the praise session, there was laughter and even tears of emotion—every moment reflected genuine feelings. The spread of positive energy brought the Gaopeng family closer together. Through this activity, we discovered many good deeds and touching stories that had never been revealed. We saw more strengths in others and also realized our own shining qualities. We hope that in the new year, everyone will remain grounded and keep building on their strengths, so that Gaopeng as a team continues to shine with positive energy.
Next came the second segment: the annual commendation of outstanding employees.
This can be considered a regular part of the annual meeting. However, what was different this year was that the number of award recipients was especially large—almost everyone was nominated during the selection process. It was a difficult year, and the company wanted to recognize and encourage everyone's performance. Gaopeng was not only unshaken by the pandemic at the beginning of the year, but also persisted in growing and seeking breakthroughs amid adversity, achieving solid results. This year's commendation featured three major awards, and the winners were... With that, the daytime events came to a close. Due to epidemic prevention considerations, this year's New Year's Eve dinner was held in the company cafeteria. Colleagues with spare time went up to the fourth floor to help the aunties prepare dinner. Some washed vegetables and prepared ingredients, some mopped floors and kept things tidy, and some male colleagues used their muscle to move tables and chairs. Everyone had a clear division of labor, and it was a lively scene!
After a joint effort in preparation, it wasn't long before everyone gathered happily around the tables and officially began the New Year's Eve dinner. Because the celebration was simplified this year, everyone felt completely at ease. We laughed, chatted, and toasted one another, expressing gratitude for the mutual support and care throughout the year.
After the wine had gone around a few times, the final prize drawing of the annual meeting began. As with last year, we had prepared plenty of prizes, ensuring that no one would leave empty-handed. Through lucky draws, New Year wishes, and fun games, everyone exchanged witty remarks and laughter. All of us—hardworking employees and food lovers alike—thus enjoyed a peaceful, harmonious reunion in a low-key yet splendid way.
